Solar Energetic Particle
Catalog: M2M_CATALOG
Event Time: 2025-03-01T03:22Z ( STEREO A: IMPACT 13-100 MeV )
Activity ID: 2025-03-01T03:22:00-SEP-001 (version 3)
Note: Brief (~12 hour long) increase in particles immediately preceding and following a data gap in STEREO A IMPACT/PLASTIC, with a short-lived spike in particle flux from 0.01 pfu/MeV to over 0.10 pfu/MeV; an electron increase is seen as early as 2025-02-28T18:00Z. More likely this is associated with the far-sided partial halo CME: 2025-02-28T17:12Z rather than with the complex arrival (likely ICME and high speed stream combined) that is seen at STEREO Ahead starting around 2025-02-28T19:32Z. Association with the far-sided CME is evidenced by the increase in electrons observed shortly before the arrival, though this particle event may have some contribution from the arrival as well.
